Are you a huge movie fan? Do you want to have a big enjoyment of
movie in summer? While I am a big fan of Syfy's Merlin, when I first
heard that Stars was making a series about King Arthur and Merlin, I had
a feeling we may have a series doppleganger on our hands. After
watching the trailer for Camelot, I have a feeling that Camelot could
just become one of my favorite new series of 2011.
Camelot (pronounced /ˈkæm.ə.lɒt/) is the most famous castle and court
associated with the legendary King Arthur. Absent in the early Arthurian
material, Camelot first appeared in 12th-century French romances and
eventually came to be described as the fantastic capital of Arthur's
realm and a symbol of the Arthurian world. The stories locate it
somewhere in Britain and sometimes associate it with real cities, though
more usually its precise location is not revealed. Most scholars regard
it as being entirely fictional, its geography being perfect for romance
writers; Arthurian scholar Norris J. Lacy commented that "Camelot,
located no where in particular, can be anywhere". Nevertheless arguments
about the location of the "real Camelot" have occurred since the 15th
century and continue to rage today in popular works and for tourism
purposes.
Camelot is an Irish/Canadian historical-fantasy-drama television series
which premiered on April 1, 2011. It was co-produced by the Stars cable
network and GK-TV which began production during the summer of 2010. The
series, based on the Arthurian legend, was produced by Graham King,
Morgan O'Sullivan and Michael Hirst. It is reported that it will be
released on blu ray in the near future, that is to say we can have a
good opportunity to copy this blu ray movie to your computer through a blu ray ripper if you are not a blu ray dvd player user.

Description in the romances
The romances depict the city of Camelot as standing along a river,
downstream from Astolat. It is surrounded by plains and forests, and its
magnificent cathedral, St. Stephen's, is the religious centre for
Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. There Arthur and Guinevere are
married and there are the tombs of many kings and knights. In a mighty
castle stands the Round Table; it is here that Galahad conquers the
Siege Perilous, and where the knights see a vision of the Holy Grail and
swear to find it.
“CAMELOT- THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON” redefines the classic medieval tale
of King Arthur with an exciting ensemble cast that includes Joseph
Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love) in the magical role of Merlin, Jamie
Campbell Bower (upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Harry Potter and
the Deathly Hollows) as the young and reckless Arthur, and Eva Green
(Casino Royale) in her television debut as the darkly powerful Morgan.
The character-driven series also features Tamsin Egerton (Guinevere),
Claire Forlani (Igraine) and Peter Mooney (Kay).
